Lawyers, Accountants (CPA’s), and Estate Planners can provide assistance when developing a Trust that includes real estate assets. We assist Attorneys by providing the appraisal of the real estate property, which often is specific to a specific date in time. Valuations which offer an opinion of value as of a certain date in time are retrospective appraisals. The effective date can be as of the date of death (DOD) or even six months after the date of death (DOD). Appraisals for estate planning and trusts can also be as of a current date when the trust is developed. Estates often include commercial real estate property, as well as residential property. As certified general appraisers we are experienced at appraising all types of real estate: office, retail, industrial, residential and special purpose properties.
