Commercial Property Appraisals

We do real estate appraisals for commercial lenders. Commercial Lenders frequently require an evaluation of the collateral for a commercial loan. Commercial properties also include a variety of usages such as office, retail, industrial and special purpose properties. Examples of commercial property usages include multi-tenant office buildings, strip malls, grocery stores, regional malls, restaurants, gas stations, auto repair, body shops, boutique foundries, heavy industrial, business centers, recycling centers, post offices, parklands, religious facilities, mobile home parks and many other usages. 

Multi-unit apartment buildings with 5 or more units are also considered commercial appraisal assignments as they require a certified appraiser and a commercial loan. Mixed-use properties often include residential apartments units above a retail store or living quarters behind an auto repair facility. Properties with multiple usages typically are legal nonconforming usages and are considered “grandfathered” because they were built before current zoning codes.  

Our commercial appraisals can be reported as a full narrative report or as a form report.
